Star Trek nline to take customization where no MM has gone before

Right now the game isn’t even in alpha or beta testing so it might be deep into 2010 or even 2011 before we see the game. That means it is possible that two — yes count them two — Star Wars MMs will have made it out the door before a major Star Trek title hit the massively online game space. Considering how nuts Star Trek fans are for that universe my question is: What’s taken so long? But in the long run it may be a good thing that we haven’t seen one emerging until now because if early signs are any indication.

com%2F8301-17939_109-10168345-2. html As someone who spends the vast majority of his time each day on the Web I’ve developed a unique love for casual online games. When I’m bored or just want to slip away from work for a while I head over to one of my favorite online game sites and let the hours pass by. But I should note that although there are thousands of online games out there my favorites are relatively limited. In fact I only play four online games regularly. These are the games I find so addicting that I can ignore the rest.

ne of the ways Activision is keeping Guitar Hero distinguished from Rock Band is by announcing artist-specific titles. The first in this line of artist-specific titles is Guitar Hero Aerosmith. The game chronicles the career of Aerosmith and gives Guitar Hero fans a new game’s worth of tracks to play. Naturally at least to a gaming cynic like myself the first question I had was if this was a cheap cash-in designed to milk the cash cow or another solid installment in a solid series. This review will examine Guitar Hero Aerosmith under that premise. The Guitar Hero basics remain unchanged. You select a premade rocker for career mode and you have to clear out a setlist in order to unlock more songs and a new venue.

Chaotic creates new order in trading-card games
Los Angeles Times CA -
4Kids announced Friday the fall release of the Chaotic video game for various consoles including Nintendo’s Wii and DS Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It helps that Chaotic is cheap. 4Kids has integrated its 48-card Starter Deck (usually priced at $14. 99 in stores) with the online game at no additional cost. Chaotic’s mix of online and real-world success hasn’t gone unnoticed. Last month Sony nline Entertainment acquired PoxNora an online trading-card game that involves free play at a basic level with additional premium subscription and purchasing costs for cards and game pieces. This spring Sony plans to launch a physical trading-card game for Free Realms a multiplayer online trading-card game under a licensing agreement with Topps.
